Silver

Meet Silver a real special little bear.
Silver is a custom order,a bear special made for the birth of a little boy.

Silver is made of a Steiff Schulte mohair, the back is light green and the hairs are silver, the hands and feet are made of a minifabric in the same colour of the hairs. He is 25 centimeter tall and has a black stitched nose and black safety eyes

 Silver is five way jointed with special safety jointes and only filled with special synthetic fabric so that the bear is safe for the little baby.

The parents where very happy with the bear, i hop you like him to!!

Teddybär Total in Münster

Next weekend i have my very first fair in Germany, The Teddybär Total in Münster. Past months i have worked really hard to create some very nice and lovely Miraberen, and i think i did a good job. I wil bring al couple of qiultbears with me to Münster in the size 15,20,25,30 centimeter, hope people wil like them. These are some bears i wil take with me, hope to see you in Münster next weekend !!!

Blossom

Meet my little Blossom. Blossom is 20 centimeter tall and made of a light brown Steiff Schulte mohair, her hands and feet are made of a quiltfabric with little strawberrys and white flowers on it.

Blossom has a brown stitched nose and black german glass eyes, and in her hair she has a string of red blossom flowers.

She is five way jointed and filled with synthetic fabric and little steel pellets so that she is having a little bit of weight.

Blossom is a one of a kind Mirabeer and made by hand. It was great to make Blossom and i really like the end result, i hope you like her to.

Second Place TED Worlwide Award!!!

I am so very glad to tell you al that Blue Vintage has won the second place in the category Mixed Materials from the TED Worlwide Award. It was a really exciting weekend, i have seen so much, talked to so many nice people and then alson won second place. The ideas for the next contest ar already in my head...........

Lotte

I want you to meet Lotte.

Lotte was a special order that i made voor Cynthia from Massagepraktijk Morijn.
She loves little bunnys and the colour pink, so i had to make a bunny in pink with little quilt feet, ears and hands with colours that matches the colour of the Massagepractice.

She is 15 centimeter tall, 5 way jointed and filled with shyntetic fabric and little steel pellets for a little bit of weight.

Lotte is handmade and a one of a kind Mirabunny

Valentijn

Valentinesday is allready over but meet my own little valentine.

Valentijn is about 20 centimeter and made of a dark yellow mohair, his hands and feet are made of a quilt fabric with harts on it in all sort of colours.
He has a black stitched nose and black german glass eyes.
Valentijn has a little knitted vest on in a pale green colour with two hartbuttons on it in dark green.

He is five way jointed and filled with little steelpellets so that he is having a little bit of weight.

Valentijn is handmade and a one of a kind Mirabeer, hope you like this little one !

Britt

It has been a while since i posted my last bear but here we are again with some new bears.

First of all i want you to meet Britt.

Britt is 20 centimeter tall and made of a light yellow furniture fabric, her hands,feet and inner ears are made of a quilt in leopard design.
She has a dark brown nose and black german glass eyes.
On her neck she has three little old bells.

Britt is five way jointed and filled with synthetic fabric and little steelpellets so that she is having a little bit of weight.

Britt is handmade and a one of a kind Mirabeer.
It was a great pleasure to make Britt, the most i liked the unusual fabric, at first i did not know if it was a good idea but the result is so great.
